Thanks for your input - which all supports what I know is right. It gives me the strength to do the right thing. I think my biggest fear is finding out that I HAVE been mistaken about our friendship all this time. That's happened to me plenty of times before. I guess I'll find out! I am "new" to AS....

When I was really young I wanted to be a wife & mother, but because I have a facial birthmark my mom & aunts told me not to count on that. Ouch! Really wanted the kids more than the husband so I thought I would adopt kids from different countries. Never did have kids. Probably a good thing.....
