I myself actually do suffer from anxiety and depression at times so I may deal better, but I have dated somebody with severe depression and anxiety. I am not going to lie, sometimes it is very difficult. Your own issues may sometimes make it a challenge to attend to her in the manner which you shoul...

I am happy that most respondents are fond of animals. :) An animal treat near where I am now is the presence of wild turkeys. Seeing any always cheers me up.

I very much am. My retro systems are all still in working order and I will buy games from time to time. I have periodically gone on buying kicks of mostly NES games. I only wish that some titles were not so expensive.

I do. To sum it up, if something is from the 80's I probably like it. ^^

80's music videos could be quite hokey but also entertaining.

I regard my cats as my family as much as any human relative. Losing a pet is as painful as a human as far as I am concerned. My cats are both very affectionate; lap cats. I think I would like to always have pets even though the pain of loss is so great. There are so many animals in shelters who need...

Wings would certainly make such a relationship interesting I'd bet. There are a variety of winged characters in works of fiction who could be called attractive.

There's nothing wrong with female dogs, it's the women that people really hate. Most people won't call their female dogs the b word even though that's supposed to be what they are. Or maybe it's because many sayings about dogs are negative in general. The dogs days of summer, which goes back to whe...

I am sure this has been discussed often so please forgive me if another thread is problematic. It is said that many people with Autism have a great fondness for animals; some valuing or relating to them more than other humans. Would many here agree with that trend? I myself adore animals and sometim...

Interacting with others usually does require encountering things that are different or do not interest you. You can never find somebody exactly like you and there will always be some type of difference. Sometimes it is a matter of "putting up" with other people's differences; ideally you w...

A good relationship certainly can make somebody happy, while a bad or mediocre one probably will not. I think the idealized relationship shown in works of fiction can make people assume that a relationship will solve everything or can only end up good. And a lot people, AS or NT, want love and compa...

I miss a dear friend who I have not spoken with since Christmas 2012. There was a desire to be more than friends but circumstance and such can be quite the barrier to things of that sort. I have never stopped missing her despite the four and a half years that have passed.

I can relate to that. I would find myself interested in a girl and have a hard time feeling any great interest in any other. And often those I had interest in were not interested, indecisive, or had another issue (scared of the prospect of dating/romantic relationships, sexuality, etc...). It was al...
